Our leading-edge water treatment, reticulation, construction, and maintenance capabilities keep New Zealand's cities running around the clock. We are seeking experienced Drainlayers to join our dedicated and talented drainage teams.

In this role, you will:
  • Lay and repair sewage and stormwater drains.
  • Install and repair wastewater treatment systems.
  • Consult with clients and external tradespeople about where the drains or wastewater treatment systems are to be laid or repaired; this is especially important in regard to underground services.
  • Any other drainage work that may require the assistance of a drainlayer.
About you:

Ideally, you can demonstrate previous experience in maintaining stormwater and/or wastewater (sewer) systems or experience within the construction and utilities industry.

You will be physically fit, health and safety focused, able to work well in a team, as well as independently, and have a proactive, hands-on approach to things.

Skills & Experience
  • Our ideal candidates will be a certified or registered Drainlayer.
  • You will hold at least a class 1 full driver’s license and have a proven health and safety track record.
  • You will have at least 5 years’ experience in drainage with a strong work ethic and can-do attitude.
  • This is a customer-focused role, so you must enjoy working with the public and the wider community.
  • Successful candidates must also be physically fit, health and safety focused, and able to work well in a team as well as independently.
